My Dear Robert
When I last wrote
you our Brucy was quite sick with
lung fever, he is now well enough
to play around again, but is still
pretty weak, and coughs considerable,
last Sunday and Monday was the
first that he was able to be up, he
was then too weak to be on his feet so that
I had to nurse him all the time. I doctored
him myself. Ella has been sick this
week, she was taken down on Monday
with a bilious attack, but is now up
and around, there is considerable
sickness about town now. I saw Cicero
today he is quite unwell, he is keeping
store for Wright during Wright’s absence in
the Legislature, he said that he was
