My Dear Robert
I received
yours of the 10th this morning,
and regret very much that
I have not yet received the
letter which you say you
sent me ten days before.
I have been out of patience waiting
for a letter, and could not
account for your long silence
unless you were sick, and thought
strange that you would not
even then let me hear from
you. I have been sadly
disappointed for several weeks
in consequence of not receiving
a letter from you. I cannot now
tell you how badly I felt and
