My Dear Robert
I have been
looking long and anxiously
for another letter from you,
and have been sadly disappointed
all last week and this week on
account of not getting one.
I do not get my paper half the
time, so that I feel quite at a loss
for news when I do not get either
paper or letter, Ella, Val, & Walter
are now at school, Brucy is amusing
himself with books, and says he
wants to write to Pa and tell him
to come home and see him,
he would not be satisfied
until I gave him the pencil
to write. Mary my girl is working
at James’ today, Mrs. Thompson’s
girl and Mary washed all day
Handwritten; 4 pages, double folded, pencil on white stationery with light blue lines
