Sir:
I have the honor to submit the following
report of casualties in my command in the skir-
mishes on the Shelbyville Pike on the 14th and 15th
days of December 1864.
December 14th, 1864
John Lopp Corporal Co. “D” Slightly wounded
James M. Cunningham Private Co. “D” Slightly wounded
James H. Reynolds Private Co. “D” Severely wounded
Thomas V. Lynch Private Co. “C” Captured by the enemy
James C. Reed Private Co. “C” Captured by the enemy
Total Three (3) wounded and two (2) captured.
December 15th, 1864
John M. Lee Private Co. “F” Killed
James Swain Private Co. “I” Wounded slightly
Clinton Brown Private Co. “I” Wounded severely
