Chattanooga
Arrived here this evening in company with my family. Surgeon Hood, Maj
McDruder & wife Maj Billings, my Provost Marshal, Cap Hart, wife of
Surgeon Hart U.S. V and two misses Bosworths of Shelbyville and orderly
Phaysin of the 42nd Wis V.I. Stopped at the Critchfield House-- My old friend
Maj. Stedman called on me in the evening. My party came down here to
visit Look Out Mountain.

Chattanooga
My party went up on the mountain today in two good 4 horse ambulances
furnished us by Gen Stedman. Visited Rock City and Look Out Point. --
had a pleasant time and a group taken at the daguerrean gallery.
Come back to the city. Visited Gen Stedman.
