Description	A note for a loan taken out by the men of the 9th Indiana for equipment and supplies needed before entering the war. The loan, to the Bank of Indiana, is in the amount of $3739.26, all of which was repaid save for $100 owed by D.C. Wirner who died before paying his debt. Milroy repaid the $100.

Milroy- negotiable and payable at the Indianapolis branch of the bank of the state of Indiana thirty seven hundred and thirty nine 26/100 dollars- without any relief from valuation or appraisement laws of the state of Indiana.
