My Dear Robert, 

		I rec”d by last Friday 
evenings mail, your letter of Nov 27th 
& 28th, containing one to Dwiggins 
the first he has received from you, 
how to account for its not coming 
to hand sooner is more than I can do 
for the P. Office has changed hands, 
Monnet, is Post master, but Conwell 
attends to it. It is kept in Saylers  
building  in Connection with 
Monnets Grocery Store. Anderson 
resigned I think about 2 months ago 
and I think that  Tatman has not  
had the privilidge of opening the 
mail since Monnet & Conwell has  
been in incharge. On Saturday I took 
Dwiggins letter to him, after he read 
it I asked him what we should do 
he said that he could not get 
Wright or Tatman to do anything 
they were still making excuses, 
and Wright intended to start to 
the Legislature on next Tuesday. 
I told him I was ready to go and 
 demand the keys if he said so 
but we finally concluded to wait  
until Monday and see if Wright
