Rensselaer, Feb 9th 1864
My Dear Robert,
It’s now
one month since I have
had a letter from you and
cant understand why it is.
I am fearful that all is not
well with you, do write, or
have some one to write for
you, and let me know the
worst, I cannot be happy
until I hear from you, and
my happiness will then
depend very much on the
character of the news I may
get from you. I do not wish
to show what you may consider
a weakness, or foolish concern
about you, but my life and
happiness is so intimately
connected with your life
and happiness that I cannot
feel easy and not hear from
Handwritten; 1 sheet double folded, 4 sides of writing; white stationery with light blue lines
