My Dear Robert
I have been looking anciously
for some time, for a letter from you.
I hoped to get one before I should
write again. I am at a loss to
know where you are now. –
I had to stopy writing to attend
to Val, he has not been well, and
has been laying on the bed most
of the day. I was writing on the
table near him, and watching
him, for I was afraid he would go
into a spasam, all at once he went
into one, I took him upp and called
Mary to bring water he worked hard
for a few minutes, and cramped
some, but come out of it in a short
time. he still has some fever and
Handwritten; 1 sheet double folded, 4 sides of writing; pencil on white stationery with light blue lines
