My Dear Robert,
I received
your letter of July 6th and
the $300.00 enclosed last evening
the money came at a very
acceptable time for I had got
out of money. Dr. La Rue offered
me $5.00 for 4 bushels of corn
which I sold him So that
five helps me out some
I could get along for every
thing except when market
ing come to the house the
persons always wanted the
money and not having the
money to give them I would
have to wait until they sold
their butter, berries, etc at the
