I have been
disappointed in consequence
of not getting a letter from
you during the past week,
but I see by the papers that
you have been quite busy
with the rebles for some time.
I was laid up last week
with that pain in my right
side or rather groin it was
so severe that I could not
get up or down, or in, or
out of bed, without help. I
finely sent for Martin he
visited me several days
giving me medicine, the
pain has gradualy worn off
