My Dear Robert
I received your
letter of June 30th last evening.
I regret exceedingly the situation
you are placed in, I know it
is a very trying one to you, at
this crisis, but why despond
my dear Robert? all is not lost
to you. Your despondency
disturbs me more than any
thing else, why not exercise
some of Jobs patience as you
can not now help yourself
and must submit to the
powers that Be. I feel satisfied
that all will yet be well with
you, and I do not want you to
do or say anything that will
be against you. I know that
