some guitar music instruction books
which she requested. I affords me
pleasure to send her such books. I did
not know the best so I send her two
books. Tell Ella that I shall
expect that she will be able to make
some good music for me when I come
home. I think I told you I had appealed
to the Presdt. He rec’d. me in a very
friendly manner & prevails with me to let
my case go on before the Court as constituted
& that he would see that no injustice was
done me. The Court has now been going
on for near a month & they have got
about through with the evidence & they
have not got a single thing against
me yet & will not. Every witness, even
the few that were my enemies testified
in my favor. The evidence has clearly
