We are at home once more,
and I find that there is no place like home.
We got home yesterday about 1 Oclock
from Carpenters Station. We come to
Logansport on Monday in Company
with Mr. Whalon and other members of
synod on their way home. I took up head
quarters at Judge Wrights, when I last
saw Mrs. Wright I promised her that I
would make her a family visit. She was
so anxious to see my children, but by the
time I got there, I was getting so fidgetty
about home that I could hardly stay, and
would have left one day sooner if I had
not forgotten my clock at Delphi. I sent
Ella back for it with her Aunt Matilda
she was in Logan having her teeth fixt.
As soon as I waked this morning I got up
and made a fire and that it was quite
early in the morning, (for we have not got
