Whereas the government of the United States
is engaged in a deadly struggle for its
existence against treason open & secret.
& Whereas many of these traitors who
desire & are seeking the destruction
of our glorious Union, are in our
midst engaged in lucrative occupat-
ions under the protection of the Govt.
whose destruction they desire, & many
hold upper lucrative offices under and
posts of profit under the Govt. of known
disloyalty. Therefore
Resolved, that it is the duty of every
loyal man to by any means possible
pecuniary & social, to assist in
driving these disloyal persons from
our midst.
Resolved that is the duty of every
member of this league to by every means
in his power to produce a sepperation
between the loyal & disloyal citizens
of this District, and the expulsion of the
