Milroy Very Dear Sir; Seeing your name mentioned in the Wheeling “Intelligencer” yesterday, in connection with a floging the men under your command gave the rebels in Tennessee, I embrace this opportunity of writing you once more. I knew you were assined to a command in Tennes- see last spring& occasionally I saw your name mentioned in the papers, in connection with the military affairs in that depart- ment, but I could never learn your addres.
