We have had
a delightful day today
Carson has been cutting wood
for us. We received a load of hay
today for which I expect to pay
$10 per ton. We also received 12 bush
of oats for which I paid 50 cts per
bushel. and I have been woring
and trying to make some good
bread out of a bad barrel of flour
which I have been bit in at
Austin’s. My girl made some
bread out of it yesterday that
was not fit to eat , today. I thought
I would give it a fair trial my-
self but have not succeeded much
better. I went up town to get more
