          Whereas the said Institution, which is established for the purpose 
            of assuring Safety and Facility in the Collection of Claims 
            and the Transaction of Legal Business throughout the        
United States, has been furnished with satisfactory evidence 
            of  your sound professional integrity, and acquirements, and 
            of your promptness and reliability. 
 
 
 
          Now Therefore you are hereby constituted and appointed a Member 
            of the said American Legal Association for an during  
            the term of two years from the date hereof. 
 
 
 
                             IN WITNESS whereof, the said Association have by 
                       their Secretary signed, sealed, and delivered this Commission 
                       at their Office, No 157 Broadway City of New York,
