instead of Beverly – Col
Latham has his Regt. & 4
guns at Beverly & I think
will be able to hold that
place at all events. I
will start the 9th
down to stop at Rowls-
burg & if no danger then
to push on to Grafton
where they can learn
how it is at Beverly.
& go on or not as
