My Dear Robert
I have just made
a fire and sit down to write a
few minutes before attending to
the cow, and getting breakfast
the rest of the family are sound
a sleep in bed yet. Brother Cap
is here he arrived last Tuesday evening
from Lafayette. My half sister of
Logansport also came last Tuesday
evening on a visit. Cap was very
anxious to see her and stepmother
told him in Lafayette that Valeria
would write me about the hollidays
so they happened to come the same
evening. Cap is going to return to
Bowling Green in a few weeks.
He is going to make us a side sadd-
le when he returns to Lafayette.
