Dear Frank & family
I rec. your letter several weeks ago. I am just now answering it. at the time I rec. your letter we were busy sending the sons of the rising sun to join their ancestors & circumstances then didn't permit writing. The situtation is different for a while now though.
I guess you are pretty busy now. Do you intend to do any farming this season? I bet you sure have a good watermelon patch & would I like to be there to help you eat them. you bet. I sure long for some good home cooking like Dorothy can do too. This G.I. grub is alright but it does get tiring after so long a time. We are getting a few fresh vegetables now & that is a relief after eating those dehydrated foods, for so long
