Dear Frank & Dorthy
I got your letter the other day, I was to busy to answer it right away we are taking care of alot of plains now, well I am glad to hear that you and your family are getting along good, my wife family and I are getting a long fine, but she has got alot of work to do, it sure is a big job to take care of children, she has done it for better than two years now, it sure seems a long time, when you haft to live like a groundhog for a long time, but it is alot better now, we have cotts to sleep on a big tent, we have pretty good eats, ice cream three times a week, I am just sweating out home, I have got over eighty fine points, and I hope to get out of the army I think I deserve getting all what I have been through with and my wife has had a ruff life, her and the two kids was sick all last winter, but it is war I guess life will be better in a year or so, I sure hope so any way. Well I am glad to hear all of the boys are getting along good I hope them the best of luck in the world, I know what it is like to be in bad spots.
