Dear Frank & Dorthy
I got your letter last night and sure was glad to hear from you, and glad to hear that you were getting along good. you and your family I am getting along good, except I am home sick there isn't much to do, my wife and family are getting along good, but she says she is getting tired waiting for me it sure gets tiresome, but I guess it will be quiet some time before I get home, I might get away by the first of the year, lots of the boys are going home with low points I don't think it is a fair deal, and they are the ones that had a pretty easy life in the army, I have been over for over two years now, it sure seems a long time to me when a man has been over seas so long his mind drift some times, you feel that you have always been at war, you feel that the army has always been your home, of course you people back home don't relize things like that, if a soldier would tell people back in america, you just as well talk to a stump, we have mutenys on things like that, which I
