for account and risk of whom it may concern, on board the good Steel Boat called the La Fayette whereof is Master for the present voyage, ___ now lying at the Port of Pittsburgh, and bound for Louisville, Ky the following packages or articles, marked & numbered as below, which are to be delivered, without delay, on ??? at order, to the Port of Charleston Landing Ia (the dangers of the river navigation, fire and unavoidable accidents excepted.) unto Jas N Todd or to his assigns; he or they paying freight for the said goods at the rate of 50 cts pr 100 lb
In Witness Whereof, The Owner, master or Clerk of said boat has affirmed to 2 bills of lading, of this tenor and date, one of which being accomplished, the other to stand void.
