Give all the information you can of your brother and sisters & their families & give all the names of your brothers & sisters & children. Write to me the particulars of your fathers death when & where he died, I must now give you a short sketch of myself & family we were married in April 1812 during the war I commenced work at the ship carpenter business & have followed it the most part of the time since then, we have three children, 2 daughter 1 son. Our oldest daughter married & died in one one year (had one daughter) both died were buried in one grave. The other daughter Marilla is married & lives about 5 miles from us. Our son is married & lives in the house with us. My sister Mrs Denham is still living in New York I just been to see her she is 82 & very feebile. My health is as good as the most men my age. Myself & wife have been members of the M. E Church many years & hope througth atoning merits of Christ - & the assistance of the holy spirit & grace of God to meet all those who have died in the truimphs of living a faith I have many more things I would wish to say
