It is my pleasure to inform you that Corporal Carson Emery Bottorff US55 031 360, United States Army, recently returned from Korea, has been assigned to Camp Carson, Colorado for separation from the service.
The above enlisted man is departing Camp Carson on 10 July 1952 enroute to his home at Jeffersonville Indiana.
I am forwarding this information to you in the event your city should desire to give some form of recognition to the patriotic service of CPL Bottorff.
