Hello there,
Thanks a million for the very nice Air Mail. Yes, I disagree very much with Slap Happy Chandler, and about 101% of the oldtimers over here feel ditos. Don't know how I'll make out in the movements when they start, but I have my toes crossed. Dam the fingers: that didn't work.
Speaking of powered eggs: Don't make the mistake of saying anything good about them to an ex-overseas man, or you may be able to add a few new words to your vocabulary. When I do get home I'm going to feast on fresh eggs, good butter, and milk. Oh yes, it wouldn't be wise for anyone to try getting me out of bed before at least 10:00 AM. Hey! this wishful thinking isn't doing my moral any good.
Cherrio for now and don't wait up for me.
Love,
Elmer.
