Hello there;
Do I like France. Heck no, the don't like the Yanks either. However we'll manage to get along as long as I have to stay here. We'll most probably move to Germany around Sept. Don't know just what part. The French is a very dirty nation both in mind & body, therefore I don't have much to do with them.
Courtney and I came over on the Queen Mary - England's second largest boat. He will most probably be home soon to tell you all about the buz, bombs, & Rockets we encountered in London. I withstood many close calls while stationed in London in Early '43, and others at the different Aerodromen, but the Good Lord was with me.
While in England I was stationed both in & near London. Gloucester, near Cambridge, and Northampton. Saw most of England, scotland, and Wales. Will tell you about my Continental travels later.
