Transcription	Chest nut Hil lHospital Philadelphia July 13 th 163 Dear Mother I seat my self this morning to wite you a few lines to let you know how i am a getting along my eyes are not any beter than they was when i wrote last i can see my way with the aid of glases tolerable well and with out them i cannot see anything searily i hope that you are all in good health i have not had any letter form you for 2 or 4 months and i have wrote several times what is the reason i cannot tell unlefs it is the excite ment that is at home on the account of the Johney rebs b eing in that Country i think that
