We have been expecting a letter from you for several days. as other of the boys had written home last week, and mother was geting quite ancious to here from you. I have not much news to write you now as B- is, and has been very dull for some time except a day accasionly and now the volunteer companys are all gone I expect it will be duller than before, Henry McCalla,s Company left here on last Monday and are now in cap at Terrehaut. There has been two others companies passed through here this week, and I understand that Lieut Rose is forming an artillery company in this county, and I expect some of the boys will take the cannon made at Sewards, and go in to the service with it, They took it to the woods last Satturday and shot balls out of it, One of the
