Excursion to Louisville Sunday, June 27th. and return for $1. Joe Hainey and sister Gertie and Edna of Dixon Ind. are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mose Burris. Chas. Litz aud family of Peerless, Ind., visited Henry S[c]iscoe over Sunday. Homer Thrasher was in town Sunday.

Show that followed the silver rule "do others or they'l do you." Prof. Sanders came to town last week and did the town by skipping their, hall rent, board bill &c. Strawberry & Ice Cream festival to-morrow Eve. at the School House Park proceeds for the M.E.organ. The young ladies are going to much expense and trouble to make it a success, and should be liberally patronized. Rev. Quincy Short preached at the Christian church Sat. & Sun. his regular appointment. Hon. William Jenning Bryan will come to Ind. to speak at a church fair at jasper, some time in August.
