The stork, seen at Guthrie, stopped on its way and left an 8 pound girl at Walter Clifft's Tuesday.

Miss Vivian Moberly, of Indianapolis, is here on a visit with relatives and friends. 
Mrs. Hainey spent Monday and Tuesday with her daughter, Mrs. Mose Burris near the National quarry.
Mrs. Geo. Gaither, Mrs. C. W. Oldham, Mrs. C. E. Deckard and children, visited Ed Deckard and family, at Bedford, Sunday.

Quite a telephone war is being waged at Oolitic, by the Bell company and Curtis Mitchell. Two companies in a town are a detriment.

Postmaster R. W. Johnson has bought a house and lot on west 6th street in Bloomington, of the Hudson Bros., Hendricksville Green Co., for $1,000.00.

Miss Hazel Fowler, a very bright little girl, is visiting her grand-mother R. W. Johnson, Miss Fowler is a daughter of John P. Fowler, of Bloomington, who is a partner in the Fowler & Floyd flouring mill at Harrodsburg.
J. O. Chambers, city treasurer of Popular Bluff, Mo., who has been visiting Thos. R. Harrell and other relatives here, returned to his home last week accompanied by his sister Maude, of Bloomington.
