I have got settled now I guess. It is hot here but have cool nites that helps This is a nice camp have good eats but can't get use to the water not as good as Speed water.
I am about 5 mi from the gulf across the field and about 14 mi around to Galveston. 35 or 40 mi to Huston
I have got my rifle issued to me today and you know what that means keep it clean. Have had some marching
