Dear Mr. Dorsey,
Sorry I haven't written you sooner, but we hardly have time to do anything down here.
I like it pretty well down here, except the heat. We're only about 20 minutes from Charlestown, so that makes it pretty nice in liberty.
I'm working in the property and accounting office at present but I imagine I'll be in a hospital ward soon.
I've been advanced to the rating of Hospital Apprentice, Second Class and am trying to make first Class soon as possible.
I'll try to find time to write you a letter in a few days and tell you more about the place.
