Hello Mr. Dorsey
I received your letter and was glad to hear from you I like to hear whats going on around the mill. I am sure glad the way the people are treating me. I sure thank you and all the rest of the fellows around Speeds for sending me the cigarettes for Xmas.
And the bonus I got I sure thought that was awful nice It sure came in handy. The army is all right but I believe Iíd rather be back at the mill.
I am not much good writing letters but if you want to put it on the bulletin board
