c/o Chaplain Edgar A. Dorner
7th Avenue Chapel
Fort Knox, Kentucky
Dear Sergeant:
Your hospitality added much to our visit to Fort Knox on October 15th and I want to thank you for the very gracious way you received us. I know our trip gave you a lot of extra work. We all enjoyed seeing the Fort and meeting you, and we hope you can come to Speed sometime soon to visit us.
Our next party for service men will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 28-29, and we would be glad to have you then. If that is not convenient, however, let me know when you can come, and, if we should not be having a party at that time, Mrs. Dorsey and I would be happy to have you as a guest in our home.
If you want to come to our party on October 28th, drop me a card or call me at Sellersburg 27 so I can include you in the group.
Very sincerely,
Jesse G. Dorsey
