Ward 40
Nichols General Hospital
Louisville, 2, Kentucky
Dear Stan:
This morning I received my telephone bill for last month and found that the Community House has been charged $1.10 plus 28 [cents] tax for the call you made to your home the Sunday morning you were here. I am sure you intended that the charges on the call be reversed. Will you please check with your folks to find out if it was charged to them? I will not pay the bill until I hear from you.
I hope you are feeling better and will soon be our of the hospital, if you have not already left there. If you are still in this vicinity, we would be glad to have you come out to see us again.
Sincerely,
Jesse G. Dorsey
