DEAR DICK:
YOUR LETTER CAME YESTERDAY AND I WAS VERY GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU AND TO KNOW THAT YOU ENJOYED THE WEEKEND SPENT IN SPEED. WE WILL BE GLAD TO HAVE YOU COME BACK TO ONE OF PARTIES IF YOU WISH FOR WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE THE BOYS AGAIN.
THIS NEXT WEEKEND, HOWEVER, WE ARE PLANNING TO HAVE A GROUP OF SOLDIERS FROM NICHOLS HOSPITAL IF IT CAN BE ARRANGED. ANY SATURDAY YOU WISH TO COME OUT, YOU CAN FIND BY ASKING AT THE USO AT THE YMCA IF WE ARE HAVING A PARTY FOR MEN FROM FORT KNOX. WE HAVE A PARTY EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, YOU KNOW.
ENCLOSED IS A COPY OF THE SPEEDOMETER WHICH CARRIES A STORY ABOUT THE PARTY YOU ATTENDED.
I SHALL BE GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU WHENEVER YOU HAVE THE TIME TO WRITE ME.
