DEAR AL:
THANKS FOR YOUR NICE LETTER AND FOR THE PICTURES YOU SENT ME NEARLY A MONTH AGO. I DID NOT REPLY AT ONCE BECAUSE I WANTED TO GET THE ENCLOSED PICTURES TO SEND YOU. TOO, I HAVE BEEN EXTRA BUSY.
WE HAD THE MOBILE UNIT OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DONOR SERVICE HERE IN OUR BUILDING TWO DAYS THIS WEEK AND THAT MEANT A LOT OF EXTRA WORK, ARRANGING THINGS FOR THEM AND REGISTERING DONORS. THEY TOOK 230 PINTS OF BLOOK DURING THE TWO DAYS, WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS FINE.
LAST WEEKEND WE HAD THIRTEEN FELLOWS FROM KNOX OUT FOR OUR PARTY. THEN LATER IN THE EVENING TWO OTHERS WHO HAD BEEN HERE TO THE LAST PREVIOUS PARTY CAME OUT SO WE HAD A FULL HOUSE AND A GOOD TIME.
IF YOU ARE STILL AT FORT KNOX, WE WOULD BE GLAD TO HAVE YOU COME OUT AGAIN TO OUR PARTY. THE NEXT ONE WILL BE ON JULY 24TH. IF YOU DECIDE TO COME, BE SURE TO GO TO THE USO AND JOIN THE PARTY THERE.
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE PICTURES, AND THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.
SINCERELY,
JESSE G. DORSEY
