Andy Marsh, Membership & Development Chairman of Greentown
Main Street Association, Inc., presents the winning ticket to Kevin
Sparling at the Greentown Fall Festival. The ticket was worth
$ 500 in certificates to be used at participating Greentown area

Fall Festival Deemed a Success
Approximately 350 people came into
downtown Greentown Saturday
evening, September 13, for a Fall
Festival. That amount of participation
and the net proceeds of $ 1,000 pleased
event organizer, Andy Marsh. Andy
states that 25 to 30 volunteers helped
set up and operate the various activities.
About 250 dinners were served, with
the food provided by Barton's Catering.
Mindy Bagley was in charge of a cake
walk for which donations were received
from Vogel's Bakery, Hulce's
Supermarket, Century Villa Health
Care, Huck's Food and Fuel, and
Subway. Harold Middleton secured a
Moon Walk for the children. Jennifer
Imbler, Justin Johnson, and Laura
Hawkins provided face painting.
Entertainment was provided by a
group composed of Tiffany Maple,
Bethany Bontrager, Britany Harvey,
and Sarah Lowery. Individuals
performing were Brandon Ramsey,
Rodney Kun, Craig Trott, Katie Heck,
Chelsey ' Graham, Brooke Cheek,
Allison Holt, Amanda Myers, Peggy
McIndoo, Melanie Lantz, and Renee
McIndoo. The final group to perform
was " Seven Days from Now."
Kevin Sparling was the winner of the
$ 500 grand prize in the raflle. Bonnie
Bonebrake won the $ 100 first prize,
and Enno Schmidt won the $ 50 second
prize. The winnings ' are in the form of
certificates which can be redeemed at
participating Greentown area
businesses.
Tables and chairs were provided by
Meridian Street Christian Church.

Public Hearing Draws 50
Homecoming Queen Cari Mast and King Reid Hinesley were
crowned at the Eastern Homecoming game September 26. Craig
Trott revived " an old family tradition" and gave the Queen a kiss.
