Volume 8, Issue 4 " a paperfor the people" ~ April 2001 Celebrations of the Season By: Claranette Wilson The Greentown Ministerial Association ( GMA) will sponsor a community Good Friday service in the Performing Arts Center at Eastern High School April 13th at 7: OOpm. In past years this service was rotated among the area churches. The center brings excitement and anticipation to gather in a community facility with more space and extra lighting. Rev. Don Dexheimer, chairman, says this is a new experience as they work together to develop a meaningful service that will make an impact on our entire Easter celebration. There will be a series of sixteen scripture lessons that tell the story of Christ's passion. Dramatic readings by the pastors, a variety of music and candle lighting will enhance our knowledge of the love of Christ. Rev. Dexheimer said " We want to convey a message so people can truly experience a time of worship and receive a deeper relationship with Christ or a brand new relationship with Him. We trust that when they leave the the depth of Greentown Ministerial Association Vice President, Gary Hoover; Treasurer, Dave Mygrant; Secretary, Randy God's love for each one of us".
