Fair to Begin July 10 - Set
a Meeting Place
The Howard County 4- H Fair, sponsored by the Greentowr
Lions Club, will be July 10- 1 6. The fairgrounds are located on the
north side of Greentown. 4- H exhibits, concessions, commercia
displays, midway, and the Pioneer Village are among thc
attractions.
Fair officials encourage people, especially families with children
to pre- set a meeting time and place when they arrive at the
fairgrounds. It should be a spot known by all members ofthe pa$
and easily found, such as “ in front of the fair office”. Requests arc
frequently made to page missing members of the party, but suck
announcements cannot be heard above the sounds of the midwai
or in most buildings, and therefore are not useful.
