He has a former Greentown connection, as his father, John, attended Eastern. Christlieb New Basketball Coach Eastern School Board at their September 13 meeting, approved the hiring of Gary Christlieb as varsity boys basketball coach and teacher of Emotionally Handicapped at the high school. He leaves the position of assistant basketball coach at Noblesville High School. Christlieb is a graduate of Carroll High School ( Allen Co.) and a 1986 graduate of Indiana- Purdue Fort Wayne. He had been at Noblesville High since 1988, This is his first head coaching job. Gary's family includes wife Melissa and fifteen month old daughter Alexis. The other personnel change approved by the School Board at the September 13 meeting was t h e a c c e p t a n c e of t h e resignation of school nurse Jane Harper and the hiring of Sue wyrick for that position.
