Vacationers at the Chittick Hotel (later known as the Woodlawn Hotel) on Bass Lake watching young girls boating during the summertime. The Chittick was located on the north end at the corner of CR210 and CR625E.
The Woodlawn Hotel on Bass Lake near Knox, Indiana. was originally built in 1887 as the Chittick House, a much smaller hotel. It was probably the last functioning first-class hotel on the lake.
