The Bass Lake Country Club was built in 1890 and located on Cranberry Point. The Country Club was used for many weddings, graduations and family reunions.
A local Beagle Club met at the Best View Hotel. Later the Best View became the Shore Room. It was located on Bass Lake's north end. It has been used as a residence in recent years.

The Brabrook Hotel was originally built as the Larimer Hotel in 1887. It was one of the first hotels to be built at Bass Lake. This building burned down around 1912. However the clubhouse eventually became home to Buchta's general store.
