The Gospel Trumpet Company was the publishing organization of the Church of God. This buidling, located at 1200 E. Fifth Street in Park Place, opened in 1909. The Gospel Trumpet was later renamed Warner Press.
This was the second Anderson elementary school named Shadeland. The original was a frame building built in 1897. This building, on West 14th Street, was renamed Morgan-Fenner Elementary School and was closed in 2003.
