Description	During her lifetime area folks might have thought her strange. The later generation, though, claimed Gene wholeheartedly and claimed her stoutly. In this case, Bob Seever of WOWO radio had broadcasted from Rome City regarding Gene Stratton-Porter. The ladies of the local Limberlost Garden Club took offense at the unfair handing of Geneva, the true area of the Limberlost, and the number of books written by the author while living there. It is unfortunate that we do not have Mr. Seever's response.
