Description	This photograph of a lone grosbeak sitting on a branch appeared in the July 1, 1901 issue of Outing magazine. There it has the caption of "Young Grosbeak - One of Six." The caption written in red ink below the photograph though illegible is not the same. Gene says of the grosbeak ".. that the rose breasted grosbeak always prefers to locate high in a thicket of wild grape vines and construct its nest solely of the dead wooden tendrils from last year's climbing. Not a scrap of lining or other materials will they use..." page 438
