Notes
Eastman-Kodak Brownie Camera No. 2C model A, with No. 130 film. Additional information: This location was previously the site of the Sulzer Brothers Drug Company Warehouse which was demolished. Marcus Sulzer was still active in the business when he died in 1939. However, the property was vacant in the 1942 city directory so we can deduce it was taken down sometime between 1939 and 1945. In its place was constructed a building softly rounded on the east, front side with modern pillars on the west side. Overall the facade was glazed tile. It was a building much more progressive than most found in Madison. Most likely it was built in 1945 or 1946 as a Hudson dealership and called the Irwin Motor Company. In 1949 it was the Irwin's Farmers Store. From the early 1960's to 1990 it was C & R Auto Parts then from 1995- 2002 it was Hoosier Auto Parts. It is currently vacant.
