Description	This is a view of the old Marine Railways. The boats identified in this picture are the "City of Owensboro", "Tell City", "Harry Brown", and "Alice Brown". The Madison Courier, on August 4, 1892, had this to say: "The shipyard and marine ways here present a busy scene just now, and Capt. Barmore and his large force of workmen are busy as bees. The Harry and Alice Brown are out on the ways. The City of Owensboro and Tell City have also been hauled out. The Irene is being put in first class order. The Bostona is here now, waiting her turn to be hauled out, besides several flatboats. The frame of the Natchez packet is up, and the outlook is bright for a prosperous season of business at Madison."
